Simply mount the Side Parking Sensor to the garage door track using the supplied universal mount.  Safely position your vehicle with the side view mirror as close to the sensor as possible.  When your vehicle is in position, press the set button.  This is now the warning zone.

Adjustable Sensor, Choose Your Exact Distance From 4 Inches - 2 Feet

The default distance is set to turn the red light on at approximately 6 inches from the sensor. If you would like a different warning distance you can pull right up against the sensor and/or garage entry and then simply push the set distance button firmly. You can also loosen the wing nut on the garage door track mount and move the entire parking sensor in and out to get a better view of it from your vehicle.
